To my baby Brenna,

Remember the day you were born?

Remember how your head got caught on mommy's tailbone and it took 3 HOURS to push you out?

Remember how the hospital let all your family stand in the hallway as you were being born instead of making them go to a waiting room? And remember how all of them shouted for joy when they heard your first cry?


Remember how you had a full head of dark dark hair?

Remember how we named you Brenna, our little raven girl?

Remember how you grew and grew until you were off the charts chunky?

Remember how you started walking and talking and then had your first birthday?

Remember how you had a second birthday and everyone looked so posh?


Remember how you had a third birthday with lots of books and I didn't take a single picture (does anyone have some?)?
